Arts Week is a university-wide educational program that showcase all disciplines of the College of the Arts, including Visual Arts, Dance, Music, and Theatre. 

It provides a spotlight for artists to shine while collaborating with faculty and professionals in the field of Arts.

Struggles

Every year, the event adopts different themes, presenting a challenge to the Art Inter-Council team and designers as they strive to reintroduce the event to students. Despite the event's large scale, it consistently struggles to attract participants and achieve strong brand awareness.

Solutions

In 2024, embracing a 2000s animation theme, a team of six designers took on the task of recreating the event's logo. They incorporated the CSUF mascot, using a bold and vibrant color palette to distinguish the brand from other typical college events. Additionally, the team implemented a range of marketing solutions to enhance brand visibility throughout the campus.

Logo Design

Taking inspiration from CSUF’s beloved mascot, Tuffy the elephant, and the bold strokes characteristic of 2000s illustration styles, the logo emphasizes the significance of Arts Week as one of the important events at California State University, Fullerton.
